
Joining Capcom as an artist in 1997, Hashimoto moved to CloverStudio Co., Ltd. in July 2004. Upon joining SEEDS Inc. in August 2006, Hashimoto assumed the role of producer on Bayonetta.

Hello everyone. I'm the producer of Bayonetta, Yusuke Hashimoto.
"What if you made a 3D action game?"
Looking back, it seems it all started when I asked Kamiya that simple question. When we were just "starting this company from scratch," we felt that we should do what we do best, action games, rather than attempting a new game in a new genre.
Bayonetta is based around the concept of "Climax Action", meaning it is loaded with a cinematic brand of high-energy climax scenes from beginning to end. It is also a game packed to the brim with content – from its blend of real and fantastic within the game world to its story and personality-filled characters.
Unfortunately, I can't share more with you now, but rest assured. Kamiya, and every single member of the team, are all working hard to produce a game that will leave you certain that "action games have evolved."
So please look forward to Bayonetta. You could call it the product of a group that loves creating games.
